Apollo Fire UK

Apollo Fire Detectors has specialised in the design and manufacturing of high quality fire detection products since 1980. Apollo have broadened their capability from a straightforward focus on conventional fire detectors, to the manufacture of sophisticated analogue addressable detectors and interfaces. Apollo is part of the Halma group of companies. Halma is a FTSE top 250 listed PLC with over 40 subsidiaries worldwide, all engaged in specialist engineering activities.

ANALOGUE ADDRESSABLE

Apollo offers three ranges of analogue addressable systems – SOTERIA®, Discovery and XP95. For general use, smoke detectors are recommended since these give the highest level of protection. Smoke detectors from the analogue addressable range may be ionisation, optical or multisensor types. The most widely used singlesensor detector is the optical smoke detector. For the greatest versatility in designing fire detection systems, the optical/heat multisensor is the detector of choice.

CONVENTIONAL

In conventional systems, detectors are wired as a circuit or zone. They signal fire conditions to a fire control panel by changing from a high to low impedance. The panel detects this impedance change by current monitoring and identifies the zone.

Advanced Fire Systems

Advanced Axis holds global approvals including EN54 and UL 864, and includes a wide range of wired and wireless detectors and devices.

Axis AX

Axis AX is a complete system of high performance fire panels, audio systems, command centres and high performance devices. It offers multiple command centre performance, telephones, smoke and fan control, mass notification, graphical control and BMS interfacing. Axis AX is designed to go anywhere you need high quality, reliable and easy to use fire detection and control, from mass transportation and industrial complexes to landmark developments, historic buildings and public services.

Axis EN

Axis EN is Advanced highest performance EN54 approved panel range and is approved to EN43 Parts 2, 4 and 13. It is certified by FM Approvals to EN54 Parts 2 and 4. Axis EN panels have been designed to offer more power and performance in a user-friendly enclosure. Axis EN packs more configuration, display, status and control options into its interface as standard than any other Advanced fire panel, which means less time and expense customising a system with peripherals. Axis EN’s processing power and advanced component design means it delivers more features, an advantage it will maintain for years to come.
